Manchester United forward likely to miss Sheffield United clash
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said that Edinson Cavani is a doubt to face Sheffield United in the Premier League tomorrow.
The Uruguay international suffered a muscle injury during the midway stage of the Red Devils' 3-1 win at West Ham United.
He has since missed back-to-back games against RB Leipzig and Manchester City and Solskjaer has said that the striker could be absent for the visit to Bramall Lane.
"Edinson has done well in his rehab. Still have to make a decision if we should risk him because it is a risk, a little bit to him, too early, so I doubt him to be available for me to pick tomorrow," He told MUTV.
Cavani has not been a regular for United, but he has made an impact with three goals and one assist. Two goals and one assist came during his 45-minute spell at Southampton where the club came from two goals down to win 3-2.
The Red Devils are currently ninth in the Premier League standings with 20 points, but have two games in hand. They could go within one point of the top four with a victory.
