Barcelona make transfer decision on Shkodran Mustafi
Barcelona have reportedly ruled out a January move for Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi despite his agent confirming transfer talks.
Mustafi has fallen down the pecking order under Mikel Arteta and he has managed only 44 minutes of Premier League action this season.
His current deal expires at the end of the season, but reports have claimed that he could be offloaded at the turn of the year.
Mustafi's agent Emre Ozturk recently confirmed that he had been in contact with the Blaugrana, but Mundo Deportivo report that the Catalan giants hold no interest in the World Cup winner.
It is added that the Blaugrana only held a meeting with his representative as a courtesy and don't plan to make an approach to sign the former Sampdoria man.
Mustafi has been unable to cement a regular role since his arrival from Valencia more than four years ago. The Gunners prefer to sell him next month rather than lose him for nothing next summer.
