Man United ready to offload four players this month

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is prepared to sanction the permanent sale of four players this month.

The Red Devils are expected to announce the arrival of winger Amad Diallo from Atalanta this week and that could be their only incoming signing for the month.

However, a number of departures are on the cards and The Sun claims that Sergio Romero, Marcos Rojo, Phil Jones and Jesse Lingard have all been placed on the transfer market.

Elsewhere, Daniel James and Brandon Williams could also leave on temporary deals next month amid his reduced playing time during the first half of the campaign.

James has been linked with a possible loan move to West Bromwich Albion. Williams, on the other hand, is reportedly on the radar of Steve Bruce and Newcastle United.

Manchester United have been in sublime form in the Premier League and a run of eight wins from 10 matches sees them only goal difference behind table-toppers Liverpool.
