Arsenal keen on landing Buendia

Arsenal have reportedly proposed a part-exchange deal to sign Emiliano Buendia from Norwich City this month.

The Gunners have recently returned to form with three league wins on the bounce, but they are still lying in the bottom half of the table.

One of their main concerns has been the limited creativity, but Emile Smith-Rowe has recently shone with two assists in the past three games.

Still, they are eyeing a new attacking midfielder and Buendia has been identified as the one of the top winter targets.

According to The Independent, the Gunners are keen on landing the Argentine's services and they have made contact with the Canaries.

The north London side are willing to pay around £15m for Buendia and on top of this, they are prepared to send Reiss Nelson or Joe Willock on loan.

It still appears unlikely that the Canaries will consider the offer, given the 24-year-old remains a key player in their promotion push.

Buendia has contributed seven goals and seven assists from 19 appearances for the Canaries, who are top of the Championship.
