Arsenal to recall Matteo Guendouzi?
Arsenal are reportedly planning to recall midfielder Matteo Guendouzi from his temporary spell at Hertha Berlin.
The midfielder fell out-of-favour during the backend of last season following his poor behaviour against Brighton & Hove Albion.
As a result, he was loaned out to Hertha in the summer and he has proved a decent signing with two goals and one assist from nine league games.
According to Bild, Hertha have no plans of signing Guendouzi permanently and they are anticipating the Gunners to terminate the loan deal.
It is unclear whether Mikel Arteta will reintegrate Guendouzi into his plans or look to sell him permanently in the coming weeks.
Arsenal reached the FA Cup fourth round earlier today following a 2-0 triumph over Newcastle United at the Emirates Stadium.
They had to work hard for the victory with Emile Smith Rowe and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scoring in the second half of added extra-time.
The north London outfit will know their opponents for the fourth and fifth rounds of the competition on Monday.
