AC Milan propose buy option for Chelsea defender
AC Milan are reportedly looking to sign Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori on loan with the option to buy next summer.
The England international has fallen down the selection order for the central defensive role this term and he has made only four appearances.
Hence, he has been fancied to leave on loan, but The Mail claims that the Rossoneri want the Blues to include a buy clause worth £27m.
It is unclear whether the west London giants will agree to the proposal with manager Frank Lampard seeing Tomori in his long-term plans.
The centre-back is desperate for regular game time such that he can push for a national team berth ahead of Euro 2020.
Tomori is also on the radar of several Premier League clubs including Everton and Leeds United.
Ultimately, it could come to which team is prepared to guarantee him regular first-team football over the next five months.
Tomori has managed only 10 minutes of first-team action for the Blues since the start of October.
