Everton end interest in Championship striker
Everton have reportedly cooled their interest in signing Josh King from Bournemouth due to the excessive wage demands.
The Norwegian's deal with the Cherries expires in the summer and the Cherries are hopeful of negotiating a fee for his departure this month.
King has been on the radar of the Toffees in recent weeks, but Sky Sports claim that they are unlikely to make a move.
The former Manchester United graduate has demanded wages of around £120,000-a-week which has reportedly ended the Toffees' pursuit.
The Merseyside outfit are on the hunt for a new marksman after the injury for Dominic Calvert-Lewin, which could keep him out for a while.
They currently have Cenk Tosun as the only back-up option in the ranks and he has failed to impress for them with the chances offered.
The club have had a good Premier League season and they are currently five points behind leaders Manchester United, having played a game less.
