Manchester United midfielder out injured until March
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Paul Pogba has sustained a significant thigh injury and may not return to action until March.
The Frenchman suffered the setback during the 3-3 Premier League draw against Everton this month and he has since missed back-to-back games.
Speaking in a press conference, Solskjaer confirmed that Pogba won't be fit to face Real Sociedad in the Europa League on Thursday night.
He added that the midfielder needs more time to recover and won't feature for the Red Devils in any of the remaining matches this month.
“Paul he is recovering well, starting treatment – still a few weeks, so he won’t be playing in February that’s for sure,” he told via Manchester Evening News.
Pogba was voted the January player of the month by the club's supporters after bagging crucial winning goals against Fulham and Burnley.
It appeared that he was getting back to his old self until the untimely setback against the Toffees where United drew 3-3 from 2-0 up at half-time.
