Liverpool to exchange Minamino for La Liga forward?
Liverpool are reportedly prepared to offer Takumi Minamino as a makeweight to sign Lucas Ocampos from Sevilla this summer.
Ocampos joined Sevilla from Marseille last season and impressed with 17 goals and five assists as they won the Europa League.
He has continued to impress this term with seven goals and four assists and he is now being touted to pursue a bigger challenge.
According to La Razon, the Merseyside giants have been impressed with his progress and they will propose to sign him in a part-exchange deal.
Minamino arrived at Anfield from Red Bull Salzburg in January 2020 but he has failed to make his mark and is currently on loan at Southampton.
He scored a lovely goal on the break against Chelsea at the weekend but it appears that he is unlikely to be reintegrated into the squad.
The Reds are likely to spend on multiple signings this summer and Xherdan Shaqiri is another player who could head for the exit door.
