Arsenal to compete with Everton for Championship star
Arsenal could reportedly compete with Everton in the race to sign Norwich City defender Max Aarons during the summer transfer window.
Aarons has been touted to leave the Canaries since their Premier League relegation last term and he could head for a fresh challenge this summer.
According to The Athletic, the Premier League duo are monitoring the player's progress and are likely to make an attempt to sign him.
The Gunners are bracing for the departure of right-back Hector Bellerin and Aarons is one of their top replacement targets alongside Tariq Lamptey.
The Toffees, on the other hand, are lining up a long-term replacement for club-captain Seamus Coleman and Aarons is also on their radar.
The 21-year-old has been a regular for the Canaries in the Championship where they are top of the table and in pole position to get promoted.
Regardless of what happens from now until the end of the season, it is claimed that the club could demand at least £30m to sell Aarons.
