French midfielder Paul Pogba is open to putting pen-to-paper on a new long-term contract with Manchester United.

The 27-year-old has been heavily tipped to leave the Red Devils this summer as his contract expires in 16 months' time.

Pogba has remained quiet regarding his future but United.no claims that he could yet renew his contract with the Red Devils.

The midfielder played a key role for the club between December and January where he came up with some crucial winning goals.

Unfortunately, he could not continue his bright run of form after suffering a thigh injury in the 3-3 draw against Everton last month.

He is likely to return to action later this month and only time will tell whether United will renew his contract by meeting his wage demands.

Real Madrid and Juventus are said to be keeping tabs on the situation. They are likely to make an approach, suppose Pogba is unable to finalise a new deal.
