Chelsea keeping tabs on AC Milan star

Chelsea are reportedly keeping tabs on AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma whose contract expires in the summer.

The 22-year-old has racked more than 230 appearances for the Rossoneri but could be on the move in four months' time.

The San Siro giants have been in negotiations with his agent for a while but so far, they have been unable to make a breakthrough.

According to Eurosport, the Blues are planning for the potential departure of Kepa Arrizabalaga and could land Donnarumma as the replacement.

The west London side will be able to afford the £9m annual salary demands but they may also need to guarantee him a starting spot.

Edouard Mendy, 29, has been the regular in goal for the Blues since his arrival from Rennes during last summer's transfer window.

Barring a couple of mistakes, he has been consistent between the sticks and could be hard done by, if a new signing is handed the role next term.
