Man United line up De Gea replacements

Manchester United have earmarked three players, who could replace goalkeeper David de Gea this summer.

The Spaniard has turned out more than 425 times for the Red Devils over the past decade, but he could be on the move.

According to Sky Sports, the 30-year-old may consider a return to Madrid, particularly after the birth of his first child.

Dean Henderson has shown signs that he could become the number one, but the club's hierarchy are looking for a new signing.

AC Milan's Gianluigi Donnarumma is an option and could be available on a free transfer with his contract expiring in June.

However, a deal is very doubtful due to the strained relationship between the United board and Mino Raiola, who represents the keeper.

Lille's Mike Maignon is another player under consideration. He could be available for just £18m as his deal expires in June 2022.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid's Jan Oblak is the other target, but the Spanish side won't sell him unless his £103m release clause is triggered.

United are unlikely to afford the hefty asking price but instead, they may propose to offer De Gea as a makeweight to reduce the fee.

Oblak has been one of United's long-term targets and it remains to be seen whether they can finally land his signature.
