Arsenal revive interest in signing Turkish midfielder

Kokcu back on Arsenal radar

Arsenal have reportedly revived their interest in signing Orkun Kokcu from Feyenoord.

The Gunners were keen on signing him last year for around £23m before he put pen-to-paper on a new long-term contract.

He continues to remain on their radar and La Razon claims that they could sign him for only £10m this summer.

Feyenoord are looking to raise funds to ease their financial concerns and Kokcu could be one of the players sold.

Aside from the Gunners, Leicester City and Leeds United are among the other Premier League clubs interested.

La Liga giants Sevilla have also been linked with the 20-year-old, who has two caps with the Turkish national team.

The Gunners are likely to rebuild their midfield this summer with Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi set to be sold.

Both players are currently out on loan and it has been reported that they could be sold for a combined £40m fee.

There are also doubts whether Dani Ceballos will return to the club after a second year on loan from Real Madrid.

Mohamed Elneny's future is also uncertain. The Egypt international will enter the final year of his contract in June.
