Nabil Fekir to Arsenal?

Arsenal could make an approach to land Nabil Fekir from Real Betis, should they fail to re-sign Martin Odegaard from Real Madrid this summer.

Odegaard only joined the north London giants on loan in January, but he has already made a huge impression in the final third of the pitch.

According to Goal.com, the Gunners are exploring the prospect of keeping Odegaard next term and they will propose a season-long loan.

The club are also open to negotiating a permanent transfer agreement, though the reported £50m price tag could be a stumbling block.

Owing to this, they have a contingency plan in place in the form of Fekir, who has been a long-term target of theirs.

Fekir was heavily linked with the club during his Lyon days and he was on their radar before Alexandre Lacazette arrived from Les Gones.

He has registered 10 goals and 13 assists for Betis over the past one-and-a-half seasons and could be on the move this summer.

He has a release clause worth £77m on his contract, but reports claim that Betis will sell him for only £26m amid their financial concerns.
