Chelsea to rival Barcelona for Argentine striker

Chelsea are set to compete with Barcelona and Juventus to sign Sergio Aguero on a free transfer this summer, Mundo Deportivo claims.
The Argentina international has been a fantastic servant for Manchester City for a decade, but he will leave them when his contract expires in June.
Aguero has already received a contract offer from Juventus while Barcelona are reportedly planning a proposal for the 32-year-old.
It is now reported that the Blues are also keen on his services, and they have made initial contact with his representative.
Unlike Barcelona and Juventus, the west London giants can't negotiate a pre-contract with the Argentine due to league rules.
Aguero has struggled with injuries, coronavirus and competition for places, and has made only 15 appearances in all competitions.
Despite this, his quality on the pitch is undoubted, and he only needs a consistent run of games to find his scoring boots once again.
Aguero has also been linked with Tottenham Hotspur, Leeds United and West Ham United amid suggestions that he wants to stay in England.
