Dortmund enter Andre Silva pursuit

Borussia Dortmund could compete with Manchester United to sign Eintracht Frankfurt striker Andre Silva this summer.

The German outfit are bracing for the departure of Erling Haaland, and it is claimed that they could sell him for around £150m.

In case that happens, they are likely to pursue a quick replacement, and Bild claims that they have their sights on landing Silva.

Silva has revived his career since his move to Frankfurt. He has bagged 24 goals and four assists in the Bundesliga this term.

His exploits have put Frankfurt in a good position to finish in the Champions League places, but they are still open to selling him.

Frankfurt are prepared to accept around £35m for his sale, and this has reportedly caught the eye of Dortmund, United and Barcelona.

United and Barcelona have also been linked with Haaland, but Manchester City and Real Madrid seem best placed to sign the Norwegian.

Dortmund are currently four points adrift of the top four in the Bundesliga. The failure to qualify for the Champions League may lead to a flash sale.
