Liverpool make Erling Haaland transfer decision
Liverpool are reportedly trailing Chelsea and Manchester City in the race to sign Borussia Dortmund sensation Erling Haaland.
Haaland has had a fantastic second season with Dortmund, registering 37 goals from just 38 appearances in all competitions.
Dortmund have emphasised that he is going nowhere this summer, but there remains speculation that he could be sold.
According to Football Insider, the Reds are admirers of the Norwegian, but accept that they are unlikely to afford his signature.
Haaland could cost around £100 million this summer while the striker could demand a contract worth £300,000-a-week.
On top of this, there could be exorbitant fees demanded by super agent Mino Raiola. The Reds are reluctant to break the bank.
City and Blues are regarded as the front-runners to sign the 20-year-old, who could leave Dortmund if they miss out on the top four.
Aside from the Premier League duo, Barcelona have been regularly linked with the services of the former Molde graduate.
