Chelsea leading the race to sign Harry Kane?

Chelsea are reportedly considered favourites to land the signature of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane this summer.

Kane has been in superb form this season, registering 31 goals and 16 assists from 46 appearances in all competitions.

Despite his exploits, the club are set to miss out on the Champions League while they have failed to win silverware for another season.

According to Football Insider, the marksman is seriously assessing his future, and would be open to a fresh challenge to win silverware.

The Blues are keeping a close eye on the 27-year-old, and could pounce for his services if Spurs are prepared to listen to offers.

Spurs are currently reluctant to offload their prized asset, but a £100m offer could be hard to refuse amid their financial concerns.

Kane has publicly acknowledged that he needs to start winning trophies in his career. He could push for an exit this summer.

Manchester City and Manchester United have also been linked with the England international, who has netted 219 career goals with Spurs.
