Arsenal to swoop for French striker?
Arsenal are reportedly interested in landing the signature of Moussa Dembele from Lyon this summer.
Dembele was linked with the Gunners last year, but their interest faded after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang signed a new contract.
The Frenchman eventually made the move to Atletico Madrid on a season-long loan with the option to buy for £30m.
His time with Atletico has been ravaged by injuries, and he has netted just one goal from 22 appearances in all competitions.
According to The Star, the Spanish outfit are unlikely to purchase him, and Dembele will return to Les Gones in the near future.
It is added that the Gunners will make a fresh approach for the striker, with Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah possibly leaving the club.
The north London giants are optimistic that they can sign the former Celtic man for around £25m in the forthcoming transfer window.
Dembele bagged 45 goals and 13 assists from 108 appearances for Lyon before he made the temporary switch to Madrid.
