Thomas Tuchel confirms triple Chelsea injury boost

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has confirmed a triple injury boost ahead of the FA Cup final against Leicester City tomorrow.

The Blues were without Andreas Christensen, Mateo Kovacic and N'Golo Kante for the recent Premier League defeat to Arsenal.

Speaking in his press conference, Tuchel revealed that Kante was under pain management, and he is expected to start against the Foxes.

Meanwhile, Kovacic and Christensen have recovered from respective hamstring injuries, and the latter is likely to start from the off.

Jorginho looks set to partner Kante in the centre of the park. Kovacic could have a role to play off the substitutes' bench.

The Blues are aiming to win the FA Cup title for the ninth time in their history. They previously won the trophy in 2018.

The Foxes, on the other hand, have reached the final on four occasions, and have been on the losing side in each of them.

They are winless in their seven FA Cup encounters against the Blues.
