Manchester United planning part-exchange deal for Jadon Sancho?
Manchester United could offer Jesse Lingard as a makeweight to sign Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho this summer.
Lingard had a poor first half to the season, but his fortunes changed after he joined West Ham United on loan in January.
He has impressed for the Hammers in the Premier League, registering nine goals and three assists from only 13 appearances.
They are interested in signing him permanently, but could be priced out with the Red Devils likely to demand around £30m.
According to The Express, United are likely to revive their interest in landing Sancho after missing out on his signature last summer.
Dortmund are willing to listen to bids of around £77m, but United are aiming to drive down the price by offering Lingard in exchange.
It is unclear whether the Bundesliga outfit would be tempted by the proposal, given they have generally signed younger players.
Lingard was also on the radar of Arsenal in January, but United refused to do business as they felt he would boost their European hopes.
