De Gea expects to stay at Manchester United next season

Spanish goalkeeper David de Gea expects to remain with Manchester United next term, The Sun reports.

The 30-year-old saw his game time shared with Dean Henderson last season, but he was picked for the Europa League final.

Ahead of the summer, it has been speculated that either him or Henderson could be sold to end the selection conundrum.

However, according to The Sun, De Gea is confident of staying next season and believes he will be the first-choice keeper.

It is added that there are no clubs willing to meet his £375,000-a-week wages or the £60m valuation set by the Red Devils.

Meanwhile, it has been reported elsewhere that United are ready to offload Dean Henderson for the right price this summer.

Henderson's attitude behind the scenes has been concerning, and the hierarchy are prepared to part ways with his services.

League rivals Tottenham Hotspur have regularly been linked with him as they line up a long-term replacement for Hugo Lloris.
