West Ham United plan bid for Manchester United attacker
West Ham United are prepared to make a permanent move for Manchester United playmaker Jesse Lingard this summer.
The 28-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan with them, registering nine goals and five assists from 16 games.
His goal contributions helped them qualify for the Europa League, and they are now keen on signing him permanently.
According to The Sun, the Hammers' hierarchy are planning negotiations with United for the England international.
United valued Lingard at around £10 million in January, but they have reportedly increased their price tag to £30m.
The Hammers will hope to negotiate a fee in the middle. Lingard is said to be keen on a reunion with the east London club.'
Arsenal have also been credited with an interest, having failed to convince United to loan him to them in January.
However, he is not a priority target for them with the likes of Martin Odegaard and Nabil Fekir also on their radar.
