Arsenal to swoop for RB Leipzig midfielder?
Arsenal are reportedly weighing up an approach for RB Leipzig midfielder Tyler Adams.
The 22-year-old has been a regular for the Bundesliga outfit. He made 37 appearances for them in all competitions last term.
According to The Athletic, the Gunners are admirers of the United States international, who can play in different positions.
Adams largely played in the defensive midfield role last term, but he can also feature in the right-back or right wing-back spot.
Leipzig are in a strong position to keep him with his contract until June 2025, but the Gunners are ready to test their resolve.
The Gunners are expected to offload Granit Xhaka this month. They have reportedly agreed a £17 million fee with AS Roma.
They have been linked with several defensive midfielders to replace him including Yves Bissouma and Ruben Neves.
Both players could cost more than £40m, and the north London club are looking for cheaper alternatives which include Adams.
