Everton enter race to sign Arsenal goalkeeping target
Everton have joined Arsenal in the race to sign Barcelona goalkeeper Neto, a report from Sport claims.
The Toffees are looking for a new back-up goalkeeper, with Robin Olsen having returned to Roma after his loan stint.
According to Sport, they are weighing up an approach for Neto, who has been the Blaugrana's second-choice goalkeeper.
The Gunners have also been linked with the Brazil international, who has two years remaining on his contract.
The Catalan giants are eager to keep hold of him, but Neto is prepared to move on to secure regular playing time.
He was signed from Valencia in a swap deal for Jasper Cillessen in 2019. It is claimed that he could be available for £10m.
Meanwhile, the Gunners are on the search for more than one goalkeeper this summer with Bernd Leno likely to leave.
They are close to re-signing Mat Ryan from Brighton. The Australian made three appearances during his loan stint this year.
