Arsenal to spend £250m on summer signings?
Arsenal are prepared to spend £250m on at least five signings during the summer transfer window, 90min claims.
The Gunners finished a disappointing eighth in the league last season. They missed out on European football for the first time in 26 years.
This has led to fierce fan criticism towards the owners over the lack of spending, and they are prepared to act this summer.
According to 90min, the north London giants are planning a mega spending spree, and could splash around £250m on new players.
They are planning to pursue at least five players with Brighton & Hove Albion duo Ben White and Yves Bissouma on their radar.
They are in advanced negotiations with Brighton for White. They have failed with two bids for the centre-back with the highest being £45m.
The Gunners are confident of sealing the deal with an improved third offer.
Arsenal start their league campaign with a Friday night kick-off against newly-promoted Brentford on August 13.
