Chelsea make Timo Werner transfer decision

Chelsea won't entertain any offers for Timo Werner during the summer transfer window, The Sun reports.

The German had an average debut season with the Blues, but he was a regular starter throughout the campaign.

He registered 12 goals and 15 assists from 52 games last season, but he was guilty of missing several scoring chances.

Despite this, the Blues have their faith in the forward, and are backing him to come good in the next campaign.

Real Madrid have recently emerged as potential contenders to sign him, but the Blues plan to reject any transfer proposal.

The club are still searching for a new striker this summer with Thomas Tuchel planning to play two up front next term.

They were recently interested in re-signing Romelu Lukaku, but a deal is unlikely to happen with the Belgian happy at Inter.

Real Sociedad's Alexander Isak has recently emerged as an option. He could cost as much as €70 million this summer.
