Chelsea to miss out on Achraf Hakimi?
Chelsea could miss out on the signature of Inter Milan defender Achraf Hakimi amid interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
The Blues are keen on signing the right wing-back, but they are reluctant to meet the £68m valuation for his services.
Instead, they are prepared to pay around £52m with either Marcos Alonso or Emerson acting as a makeweight in the deal.
Inter are reluctant to accept the proposal as they need the money upfront in order to recover their financial losses by June 30.
Les Parisiens are willing to meet their demands, and they are now in pole position to sign the former Real Madrid man.
Hakimi only joined the Nerazzurri last summer. He had an excellent debut season with seven goals and 11 assists from 45 games.
His agent has already confirmed that he will be leaving the club this summer. His departure is expected to happen in the next 10 days.
Hakimi was previously on the radar of Arsenal. They are unlikely to enter the transfer race due to the high asking price.
