Aston Villa readying fresh bid for Emile Smith Rowe?
Aston Villa are reportedly planning a fresh approach for Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe this summer.
The Midlands outfit have been active in the transfer market, and they have already bolstered their attacking department.
They have signed Emiliano Buendia and Ashley Young this month, and the club's hierarchy are looking for another reinforcement.
The Villans recently failed with a £25m bid for Smith Rowe, and Football Insider claims that a fresh £30m offer is on the cards.
The Gunners are expected to reject the transfer proposal as they have no plans of losing their prized asset anytime soon.
Smith Rowe had a superb breakout season with the club last term, registering seven goals and seven assists from 37 games.
He has two years left on his existing contract, and talks are already in progress to commit him to a new and improved deal.
Smith Rowe is likely to be handed a five-year contract. He could receive a triple hike on his current £20,000-a-week wages.
