Chelsea to loan out Billy Gilmour next season
Chelsea are open to loaning out Billy Gilmour next season to earn valuable first-team experience, The Athletic claims.
Gilmour is regarded as one of the club's best young graduates, and he has already impressed with the senior squad.
According to The Athletic, the Blues are open to sanctioning a temporary deal for Gilmour to secure more experience.
The youngster is currently behind N'Golo Kante, Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic in the pecking order for a midfield role.
Norwich City and Wolverhampton Wanderers are keen on signing him, and the former could have the advantage in the race.
Daniel Farke has a close relationship with Thomas Tuchel. He was the reserve team boss at Borussia Dortmund when Tuchel was manager.
The Canaries have lost the services of Oliver Skipp after his loan spell from Tottenham Hotspur. Gilmour could act as the perfect replacement.
Gilmour recently starred for Scotland against England at Euro 2020, where he was handed the man of the match accolade.
