Hakimi to join PSG

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly won the race to sign Achraf Hakimi from Inter Milan this summer.

The Moroccan had an excellent debut season for Inter, registering seven goals and 11 assists from 45 appearances.

Despite this, he has been permitted to leave the club this summer as they need to balance their books by June 30.

The Blues were also in negotiations for Hakimi, but Goal.com claims that Les Parisiens have won the pursuit.

They have agreed a deal worth £60m with the Serie A outfit that includes performance-based add-ons.

Hakimi has made tremendous progress playing in the right wing-back position over the past few years.

Les Parisiens prefer to go with four at the back, and it remains to be seen how he will adapt to the change of style.

He has made good impact higher up the field, but could have more defensive duties to cope with next season.

Hakimi's arrival should end Les Parisiens' interest in Arsenal's Hector Bellerin.
