Arsenal working to sell three midfielders - Fabrizio Romano

Arsenal are working over the potential sales of three midfielders, reputed journalist Fabrizio Romano claims.

The Gunners are planning a squad rebuild this summer, and they could recruit at least five new players.

Prior to that, they are aiming to recoup funds from player sales. They could offload as many as three midfielders.

The club are in advanced negotiations with Roma over the sale of Xhaka. The deal could be worth £20 million.

They are also making progress with Marseille over Matteo Guendouzi. He could leave the club for around £8m.

Lucas Torreira could be heading back to the Serie A with strong interest from Lazio. They are eyeing an initial loan deal.

The Serie A outfit are prepared to include an option to buy for £12m. The Gunners are yet to respond to the proposal.

Elsewhere, Hector Bellerin has recently emerged on the radar of Inter Milan, who are eyeing a replacement for Achraf Hakimi.
