Camavinga wants La Liga move

Manchester United believe Eduardo Camavinga has the preference to move to the Spanish La Liga this summer.

The 18-year-old is regarded as one of the best young midfielders in Ligue 1, and he is widely expected to leave Rennes.

With under 12 months remaining on his contract, Rennes are open to parting ways with him for around £25 million.

United and Paris Saint-Germain have been linked, but The Telegraph claims that Camavinga could move to La Liga.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are interested in his services, and Camavinga has been a long-term target for the former.

Both clubs need to reduce their wage bill before registering new signings, but they can still make new purchases.

Camavinga is a defensive midfielder, but he largely played in central midfield last term, making 39 appearances for Rennes.

Madrid could be a suitable destination for him, considering the Blaugrana are on the cusp of landing Saul Niguez from Atletico.

The Catalan giants are ready to swap Antoine Griezmann to sign the Spain international in the coming days.
