Arsenal yet to make bid for Houssem Aouar
Arsenal are yet to make a fresh move to sign Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar, ESPN reports.
The Gunners were heavily linked with Aouar last summer, but a deal failed to materialise between the clubs.
The north London club were willing to offer around €35m, but Lyon refused to accept anything less than €60m.
It is now claimed that Aouar is available for just €25m as Lyon need to recoup funds to ease their financial issues.
The Gunners recently made an enquiry to Les Gones, but they are yet to make an official bid for the player's services.
The club need to recoup funds, and it is reported that they need to offload one more player before affording Aouar.
Granit Xhaka appears the most likely candidate to leave the club in the coming days with Roma interested.
Roma are prepared to pay around €18m. A transfer could be finalised by next week with Xhaka ready to cut short his holiday.
