Atletico Madrid want to sign Arsenal forward valued at £15m
Atletico Madrid have reportedly renewed their long-term interest in Alexandre Lacazette.
The Frenchman has netted 60 goals in four seasons for the Gunners, but he is expected to leave the club this summer.
The hierarchy have decided against renewing his deal expiring in June 2022. They are willing to sell him for £15m.
According to Calciomercato, the La Liga champions have revived their long-term interest in the 30-year-old.
Lacazette was tipped to join the Madrid giants in 2017, but a deal broke down due to a FIFA-imposed transfer ban.
He eventually made the move to the Gunners from Lyon, and has been a solid performer over four seasons.
The Gunners have identified Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham as his potential replacement. He could cost £40m.
Aside from Lacazette, Eddie Nketiah could also be sold in order to recoup funds for the transfer of Abraham.
Abraham has already agreed personal terms with the club. He is eager to join them over West Ham United.
