Crystal Palace set their sights on Arsenal winger
Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira is interested in signing Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson on a temporary basis next season.
Nelson has received limited game time over the past few years. He was regularly out of the matchday squad last term.
He has entered the final two years of his contract, and talks over an extension have stalled amid reduced playing time.
According to Football Insider, Palace are looking to bolster their wide attacking department further with a loan deal for Nelson.
Vieira has been keeping a close eye on the developments at his former club, and wants to lure Nelson with regular minutes.
There are also other clubs interested, but the Frenchman hopes to utilise his close links with the north London club as a player.
The Gunners are reluctant to lose Nelson permanently, and are still hopeful that he can realise his potential with them in the future.
They are willing to send him on loan next season. The hierarchy will be aiming to convince him to sign a renewal before heading out on a temporary basis.
