Abraham wanted by Roma and Arsenal

Arsenal and Roma are the leading contenders to sign Tammy Abraham after Atalanta pulled out of the race.

The England international is expected to leave the Blues this summer with the impending arrival of Romelu Lukaku.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Arsenal and Roma are the prime candidates to land Abraham after Atalanta's withdrawal.

The Serie A outfit recently held talks with the striker, but have pulled out of the pursuit for reasons that are unmentioned.

The Blues are likely to demand £30m for the marksman, who bagged 12 goals and six assists from 33 games last term.

Abraham is currently on wages of around £50,000-a-week. He is eyeing a significant wage hike to leave the Blues.

It has been reported that he wants around £130,000 weekly. This has put off West Ham United from pursuing him.

Abraham has the preference to join Arsenal, who were his boyhood club. The Gunners could make a formal bid soon.
