Arsenal to re-sign Martin Odegaard on loan?
Arsenal could re-sign Martin Odegaard on loan from Real Madrid, The Mirror reports.
The Norwegian spent the back end of the previous campaign with the Gunners, registering two goals and two assists from 20 games.
The Gunners have since been interested in re-signing him, and The Mirror claims that they will meet with his representatives soon.
The north London giants could land him on another temporary deal with a first refusal to buy him for around £30 million next summer.
Odegaard has less than two years remaining on his Los Blancos contract, and he is likely to pen a short-term extension if he leaves on loan.
Aside from Odegaard, the Gunners have also been linked with a possible approach to sign Philippe Coutinho from Barcelona.
Coutinho was not involved in the matchday squad for the La Liga opener despite being fit after his knee surgery earlier this year.
There are reports suggesting that Alexandre Lacazette could be swapped for the Brazil international before the transfer deadline.
