Arsenal to sell Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang?
Arsenal could reportedly sanction the sale of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer.
The Gabon international signed a new long-term contract last summer, but he continued to have a poor season with just 15 goals.
Aubameyang missed the Premier League opener against Brentford due to illness, and The Mirror claims that he could be leaving the club.
Alexandre Lacazette was also absent for the encounter for the same reason. Both strikers are now being linked with summer exits.
It is known that the club are actively looking to sell Lacazette, but the speculation over Aubameyang's future is a surprise.
After bagging 22 league goals in back-to-back seasons, he struggled last term with just 10 goals from 29 top-flight matches.
He is currently the club's highest earner at £300,000-a-week, and reports claim that the hierarchy could cut their losses on him.
They are likely to recoup the £60m fee paid to Borussia Dortmund three years ago, but he could still command a good price.
