Koeman gets Valencia chop

Ronald Koeman has sensationally been sacked by Valencia - only one week after guiding the club to Copa Del Rey glory. It is believed that Valencia have a lengthy list of replacements - including Jose Mourinho. Koeman will count himself unlucky as player relationships may have cost him his job.

Despite defeating Getafe 2-1 in the final last week, it seems Koeman will have to find a job elsewhere.

Koeman replaced Quique Sanchez Flores in October when the team were fourth, Valencia have dropped down to a relegation threatened position and were in sixteenth place under Koeman.
