Chelsea to replace Jorginho with Franck Kessie?
Chelsea could reportedly replace Jorginho with Franck Kessie next summer, a report from The Express claims.
Jorginho has transformed his career under manager Thomas Tuchel this year, and he is currently an undisputed starter.
However, there has been regular speculation that he could return to the Serie A, and his agent recently confirmed it.
According to The Express, the Blues are aiming to land the services of Kessie on a free transfer agreement next summer.
Kessie has only 10 months remaining on his Rossoneri deal. He has snubbed an annual package of around £5.5m on the table.
The Blues are willing to offer an improved salary of £6.9m to lure him to the Premier League ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.
Kessie has previously talked about his dream of playing in the Premier League, and he may be tempted by the contract proposal.
Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with the Ivorian. They could offer stiff competition in finalising a pre-contract in January.
