Arsenal make Bernd Leno transfer decision?

Bernd Leno news

Leno to be sold next summer?

Arsenal are prepared to sanction the sale of goalkeeper Bernd Leno during next summer's transfer window, The Sun reports.

The German started the season as the first-choice shot-stopper, but he was recently dropped against Norwich City.

Aaron Ramsdale was handed his league debut in the club's colours. He produced a solid and efficient performance.

The 23-year-old was praised by manager Mikel Arteta for his energy and vocal influence over the course of the game.

It is now reported that Ramsdale is expected to keep his place in the starting XI. This could directly affect the future of Leno.

Leno has less than two years remaining on his existing contract with the Gunners. The club are ready to sell him next summer.

The German has been linked with a possible move to Serie A recently with Inter Milan eyeing a replacement for Samir Handanovic.

Arsenal registered their first points of the new league season last weekend with a 1-0 win over Norwich at the Emirates Stadium.
