Manchester United duo doubtful to face Liverpool?

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted that Bruno Fernandes and Fred are doubtful to face Liverpool.

The Red Devils are winless in three league games, and they will be desperate to return to winning ways against the Reds on Sunday.

It won't be easy with their inconsistent run of form while their record against the Reds has also been disappointing over the past few years.

They have failed to beat them in the league since 2018. Ahead of tomorrow's game, the club could be without a number of key players. 

Raphael Varane is obviously out with a groin problem, but Fernandes and Fred are now considered doubtful to face Jurgen Klopp's side.

Fred sustained a hamstring injury against Atalanta in midweek. After that game, Fernandes picked up an issue in a warm-down session.

The duo will undergo late fitness tests. Alongside the pair, Marcus Rashford also faces a race against time after suffering a dead leg in midweek.
