Chelsea to recall Armando Broja in January?
Chelsea plan to recall Armando Broja from Southampton when the transfer window reopens in January.
The 20-year-old was loaned out to the Saints this summer after the club-record signing of Romelu Lukaku.
Broja has since impressed with four goals from eight games, and it is reported that he could be recalled.
Lukaku and Timo Werner recently picked up injuries, and they are likely to be ruled out for a few weeks.
The duo could return for the festive schedule, but Thomas Tuchel is still keen to integrate Broja into his plans.
Broja has been in fine form for the Saints, and has recently netted in back-to-back Premier League games for them.
Ralph Hasenhuttl would like to keep him for the season, but may be forced to pursue a replacement in January.
The Blues are currently top of the Premier League standings with 22 points, just one ahead of Liverpool.
They will be aiming to preserve the slender lead when they face Newcastle United on the road this weekend.
