Tottenham Hotspur leading the hunt for 21-year-old striker?

Tottenham Hotspur have jumped ahead of Juventus in the pursuit of Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic, La Nazione claims.

The Serbian is regarded as one of the best young strikers in Serie A. He has bagged 29 league goals since the start of last season.

He was linked with a summer move away from Fiorentina, but a deal did not materialise as clubs refused to meet the price tag.

La Viola wanted around £70m for their marksman. Atletico came up with the best offer on the table of £55m that was rejected.

It is now claimed that the Serie A outfit are open to selling Vlahovic in January after the striker turned down a new contract.

His current deal expires at the end of next season, and reports claim that the Florence outfit are willing to sell him for around £51m.

Spurs boss Antonio Conte has the striker as one of his prime targets for the New Year. Vlahovic is also keen to work under him.
