Mikel Arteta confirms Arsenal injury boost
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Kieran Tierney has returned to training ahead of the Premier League clash against Watford.
The north London giants made a dismal start to the league campaign with three straight defeats, but there has since been a tremendous revival.
The club have unbeaten in the last seven league matches with five wins, and they are now just three points behind fourth-placed West Ham.
Ahead of tomorrow's game against Watford, Arteta confirmed the return of Tierney to training after his recent absence with an ankle issue.
"Kieran has been training the last two days, he is feeling much better so hopefully he will be available," he was quoted by Arsenal.com.
Nuno Tavares has done a tremendous job at left-back in Tierney's absence, but the latter is widely expected to return to the starting line-up.
The Gunners have beaten the Hornets in four of the previous five meetings (one draw), and they are favourites to secure another win over them.
