Saul Niguez makes decision on his Chelsea future
Chelsea midfielder Saul Niguez has no plans of terminating his loan deal at the beginning of the New Year.
The Spaniard joined the Blues on a season-long loan from Atletico Madrid over the summer with an option to buy.
He has since played only 47 minutes of Premier League football under Thomas Tuchel amid adaptability issues.
It was recently suggested that his temporary deal could be cancelled in January, but that appears unlikely to happen.
According to The Telegraph, Saul is content at the Blues, and the club's Spanish owners are helping him to adapt.
The west London giants also have faith in the midfielder, and believe he will come good as the season progresses.
The club are expected to analyse the Spaniard's performances over the entire season before deciding on his future.
Saul has made five appearances for the Blues across all competitions. He has yet to make a goal contribution.
With a congested festive schedule ahead, he could see more playing time for the club, especially in the league.
