Arsenal planning to trigger clause of Europa League winner?

Yeremi Pino to Arsenal?

Arsenal are planning to trigger the release clause of Villarreal's Yeremi Pino during the January transfer window.

The 19-year-old forward has made tremendous progress over the past 18 months with the Yellow Submarines.

The Spaniard became a regular in the second half of the previous campaign, netting five goals across all competitions.

He has continued the good form this term with two goals and three assists.

According to El Nacional, the winger could be on the move in January with strong interest from the Gunners.

His current deal has a release clause worth £25.7m. The north London club are ready to meet the valuation.

Pino has also been linked with Real Madrid, but he does not have the assurance of regular playing time.

Mikel Arteta is willing to offer him regular starts. He sees him forming a potent attack alongside Smith Rowe and Saka.

A deal for the Europa League winner will raise doubts over the future of Nicolas Pepe, who has been a regular on the bench.
