Real Madrid favourites to sign Franck Kessie?

Real Madrid are prepared to beat Manchester United and Chelsea in the pursuit of AC Milan midfielder Frank Kessie.

The Ivorian has less than eight months left on his Rossoneri contract, and he could be sold for a cut-price fee in January.

United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have all been linked with his services, but Los Blancos are prepared to beat the trio.

According to El Nacional, the Spanish giants could lure Kessie on a significant wage package at the beginning of the year.

Casemiro has had an indifferent campaign from the holding midfield role, and Kessie is seen as a long-term replacement.

Kessie can't decide on his future until the winter transfer window, but contact has already been made with his representatives.

The Rossoneri are still hopeful over a possible contract renewal, but Kessie appears to have made his mind up to move on.

He is currently on around €2m annually. The Rossoneri are willing to double his wages whereas others are willing to quadruple it.
